Lord Hanuman With Lord Rama Sita in Rama Darbar by Exotic India Art


In Hinduism lord Hanumana is known as devotee of lord Rama. He was called as Baal Brahmachari. Lord Hanumana was son of Anjana and Kesari. He was named as Pawan putra Hanuman beacuse wing-god Pawan was his father. Lord Hanuman was an incarnation of Lord Shiva and is considered to be a representative of strength and devotion.
Hanumana was biggest devotee of Lord Rama, one such incident is famous where Hanumana watches Goddess Sita putting sindoor on her head and ask her about the reason of putting sindoor. To which she replied, since she is wife and companion of lord Rama and sindoor was sign of her unconditional love and respect for Lord Rama. It affected Lord hanumana and to prove his love for lord rama, he covers his entire body in sindoor. Being kind hearted, lord Rama was really impressed by this gesture of lord hanumana and granted a boon that whoever will worship lord Hanumana with sindoor, his all difficulties will go away.

Lord Hanumana is worshipped along with lord Rama and sita and Ram Darbaar is incomplete without him. Lord Hanumana is famous for burning lanka when Ravana tried to kidnap Sita and kept her in lanka. Angry Hanumana burns whole lanka with his tail. Some people even belives that when Hanumana was a kind he ate the sun and it didn't affected him. He is the most important part of the Ramayan. He helped lord Rama to fight against Ravana. Along with other monkeys he build a bridge overnight in river with stones on which lord Rama was mentioned. It is believed that chanting of Hanuman chalisa (हनुमानचालीसा) will remove every obstacle and problems from your life. It is believed that praying Hanuman can get rid of all kinds of negative energies, especially the fear of evil spirits. In temples throughout India, he is identified in the form of a monkey with a red face who stands erect like a human. He is believed to be the god who listens to prayers before any other god. Lal sindoor, Cocounut and orange clothes are offered to lord Hanumana to impress him.
