Lord Krishna Brass Sculpture
Lord Krishna Brass Sculpture

The innocent smile and the naughtiness of his eyes, reverberates lord Krishna’s child-like tenderness and love for his devotees. He is revered as one of the most popular deities in Hindu pantheon who acts as a life force in all human beings. This lord Krishna brass sculpture depicts him in his most beautiful form, standing in a tribhanga posture, carved in proper curves of his waist along the hipline. He is shown here in the best of his actions- playing the flute, arousing melodious sounds of love and peace. The inverted lotus pedestal is chiseled in artistic patterns along with all petals, curved at the bottom edges.

Lord Krishna is clothed in an ankle-length dhoti marvelously pleated at the fall forming beautifully layered feathers in the center along with the floral kamarband fitted perfectly around his waist. A long silk stole is hung across his shoulders and falls on either side in ease. The perfection of skills of the carver can be analyzed by the way he has carved the pleats of his stole and the vertical chisels all over it. Ornated in a graceful choker, kundals, a long flower garland and the Vaishnava tilak on forehead, Lord Krishna represents an aura of royalty and divinity. The sculptor has alluringly carved the small length wavy hairs of lord Krishna, with each strand grouping to form spirals in horizontal layers from the back and further accessorized with a royal crown having a flower broch in the center and a peacock feather at the top.

Peacocks love to dance in rain and it is said that when peacocks see Krishna playing his flute, they get reminded of the happy gestures and soulful sounds, which is why Krishna is always adorned with a peacock feather on his crown as an offering of gratitude. The baby peacock carved on Krishna’s right side is a depiction of the same vibe of joy and love.

Lord Perumal - Vishnu with Garuda and Hanuman Ji Lost-Wax Panchaloha Bronze

This exquisitely remarkable and stunning creation from the region of Swamimalai truly awes the viewer, whether for its artistic presence or religious sentiment. This skillful work of art truly encapsulates how a god’s image, or its ‘murti,’ rivets the devotee to the ground, making him lose his material bondings and wholeheartedly devote his life to the service of this benevolent and majestic deity. This is the grand Perumal bronze statue , which is but the South Indian manifestation of the powerful Hindu god, Vishnu. Presented in the most painstakingly fine detailing, the central image is that of the great preserver in the triad of the powerful ‘Trimurti.’ Vishnu’s body, immaculately created, stands in the ‘abhyanga’ posture, deep in thought. His standing presence has four hands, which carry his iconic attributes – the ‘Sudarshana chakra’ or war discus, the conch ‘Panchajanya,’ his mace ‘Kaumodaki,’ and the ‘Padma’ lotus flower. Breathtakingly presented, every little detail signifies t...

Sthanak Lord Vishnu Madhuchista Vidhana Lost-Wax Panchaloha Bronze from Swamimalai

According to the Siddhartha-Samhita, there are twenty-four avatars of Lord Vishnu . The Trimurti is a concept in Hinduism in which the cosmic functions of creation, maintenance, and destruction are personified by Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer or transformer. His four arms indicate his all-powerful and all-pervasive nature. The conch ( Panchajanya) symbolizes that Vishnu is the Divine sound of creation and continuity. The Chakra, "Sudarshana", symbolizes the purified spiritualized mind and represents the destruction of the ego. A mace or Gada, "Kaumodaki" symbolizes that Vishnu's divine power is the source of all spiritual, mental, and physical strength. A lotus or Padma symbolizes that God is the power and source from which the universe and the individual soul emerge.
