Gentle and wise and perfect in every way, Lord Ganesha is the widely revered son of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati. He is adored by devotees for His childlike form and disposition, which gives Him a high propensity to mete out blessings and boons to those who simply turn to Him. In this life-sized sculpture, He is seated in all His cosmic glamour upon a curvaceous multi-tiered throne, His legs folded in the traditional lalitasana.

The silken folds of His dhoti gather over the pedestal. At its gold-trim hems is His long-tailed vahana, the mouse, who is looking up to His Lord in veneration. The chaturbhujadhari (four-armed) deity looks on straight ahead with a gaze of invincibility. His elephant face is flanked by large ears which have been adorned with gold, in keeping with the rest of the shringar of His iconography. The raised-hooded snake that holds in His full belly is an integral part of that shringar.

An ornate crown sits on the boy-deity’s head. Zoom in on the same to appreciate the precision and symmetry with which it has been engraved. A circlet of minuscule paisleys constitutes his halo. A wide, gracious aureole frames the figure of Lord Ganesha Statue. It comprises concentric discs of lotus petals and flowers and balls of flame (indicative of His father, Lord Shiva). A meticulously carved Kirtimukham is to be found at the zenith of the superfine aureole.

Lord Ganesha is one of the gentlest and sweetest deities of the Hindu pantheon. A boy-God by nature with the innocent head of an elephant that His mother, the Goddess Parvati, implanted there, He is famous for His childlike love of sweetmeats and the propensity to bless the beginning of auspicious ventures everywhere. This imposing brass sculpture of the Lord, luxuriantly bejeweled and mounted on an ornate pedestal, will fill your home or office with the essence of divine innocence.

Lord Perumal - Vishnu with Garuda and Hanuman Ji Lost-Wax Panchaloha Bronze

This exquisitely remarkable and stunning creation from the region of Swamimalai truly awes the viewer, whether for its artistic presence or religious sentiment. This skillful work of art truly encapsulates how a god’s image, or its ‘murti,’ rivets the devotee to the ground, making him lose his material bondings and wholeheartedly devote his life to the service of this benevolent and majestic deity. This is the grand Perumal bronze statue , which is but the South Indian manifestation of the powerful Hindu god, Vishnu. Presented in the most painstakingly fine detailing, the central image is that of the great preserver in the triad of the powerful ‘Trimurti.’ Vishnu’s body, immaculately created, stands in the ‘abhyanga’ posture, deep in thought. His standing presence has four hands, which carry his iconic attributes – the ‘Sudarshana chakra’ or war discus, the conch ‘Panchajanya,’ his mace ‘Kaumodaki,’ and the ‘Padma’ lotus flower. Breathtakingly presented, every little detail signifies t...

Sthanak Lord Vishnu Madhuchista Vidhana Lost-Wax Panchaloha Bronze from Swamimalai

According to the Siddhartha-Samhita, there are twenty-four avatars of Lord Vishnu . The Trimurti is a concept in Hinduism in which the cosmic functions of creation, maintenance, and destruction are personified by Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer or transformer. His four arms indicate his all-powerful and all-pervasive nature. The conch ( Panchajanya) symbolizes that Vishnu is the Divine sound of creation and continuity. The Chakra, "Sudarshana", symbolizes the purified spiritualized mind and represents the destruction of the ego. A mace or Gada, "Kaumodaki" symbolizes that Vishnu's divine power is the source of all spiritual, mental, and physical strength. A lotus or Padma symbolizes that God is the power and source from which the universe and the individual soul emerge.
